Ola Issa is an educator with 16 years of teaching experience in early, middle and upper primary grades. She is passionate about educating the children of the Islamic community and is known for her determination and drive. Her extensive knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy ensures that the necessary provisions are made so that the needs of every learner are addressed.
Although Ola started her career in the public sector, she has worked for four of the most prominent Islamic schools holding such positions as School Principal, Curriculum Coordinator and Head Teacher. She has presented at conferences and consortiums and has been called to represent the Islamic education sector as a panellist. She has had her research, conducted as part of her Masters of Education degree, published in educational journals and continues to stay knowledgeable about recent research in the field of education.
In her current role as the Head of Junior School at Unity Grammar College her responsibilities include managing the educational welfare of the primary students. This includes managing the professional development of the teachers, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning and addressing the learning support needs of students through the coordination, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of educational programs.
