Cambodia Humanitarian Mission 2023

In a display of compassion and commitment to making a positive impact on the world, a group of dedicated students recently departed to Cambodia to engage in humanitarian work. Their journey, brimming with purpose and a desire to bring about change, would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of our sponsors, who have made this endeavour possible. Among them, ‘Future Form’ stands as our Platinum Sponsor, ‘JustMed Group’ as the Gold Sponsor, ‘Binah’ as the Silver Sponsor, and ‘DF Legal’, ‘The Tax Factor’, ‘ICT Technology’, and ‘MCCA’ as our dedicated Bronze Sponsors. These organizations have not only provided financial support but have also shown their commitment to fostering a spirit of social responsibility among our students.

In addition to our recognized sponsors, we would like to acknowledge the contributions of several unnamed sponsors and countless donors who have generously offered their support for this humanitarian mission. Their contributions, big and small, have collectively played a crucial role in making this journey a reality.

Our students have made a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Participating in various projects, including education initiatives, healthcare support, and community development efforts this trip not only provided an opportunity for these young minds to give back but also serves as a valuable learning experience, broadening their horizons and teaching them the importance of empathy and cooperation.

Building a Masjid on behalf of Utthman Mokbel,

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” [Sahih Muslim]

He also said, “Treat your sick by giving charity” [Sahih al-Jaami’]

The Unity Community’s heart and prayers are with our dear brother and learner Utthman Mokbel from Year 9. Utthman has been battling cancer for several years and is currently in his most critical state since developing his illness. Through our partnership with Human Appeal Australia, we have organised the construction of a Masjid in Bangladesh. This honourable action is on behalf of Utthman with the intention for it to be a shifaa’ for him.

We invite our community to join us in contributing to the $16,500 to complete the Masjid in the name of Utthman. To contribute to this honourable cause, please visit https://shorturl.at/gmNRW link also available in our bio.

We ask Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) to alleviate the ailment of Utthman and provide ease and mercy on his family.
