At Unity Grammar we know that all students have potential and are talented in their own way. The Gifted and Talented (GAT) program allows student talents to flourish.
The Gifted and Talented program is an opportunity for existing Unity Grammar students to showcase a specific skill or challenge themselves in an area of interest that they may not be able to achieve within the normal curriculum.
Students are given the opportunity to complete a project of their choice with the supervision and assistance of an adult mentor. Projects can range from writing a novel, creating a piece of art, designing a table or raising funds for a special cause.
The Gifted and Talented program key components are as follows:
At the completion of the project, students are able to showcase their product or creation at a GAT Exhibition. Parents, staff, students and special guests are invited to meet the students and learn about their product and journey.

The GAT Exhibition is an opportunity for participating Year 5 students and beyond to showcase their talents and interest in a particular area by participating in a sustained and self-directed project of their choice to generate creative insights and to develop deeper understandings through in-depth investigation.
Every year we hold our annual Gifted & Talented (GAT) Exhibition. The lead up to the exhibition is always one of hard work and perseverance. The students involved have spent countless hours and energy on their individual projects. As always each project was unique and reflected the student’s passion for the topic of their project.
