Ramadan at Unity Grammar is a unique and immersive experience for students. Our Ramadan program caters for our students’ spiritual and communal needs.
This begins with the preparation for Ramadan with a countdown and daily reminders about the blessed month in the month prior. Our students also assist in transforming our campus to reflect the theme of Ramadan.
During Ramadan, students engage in units of work that are centred around Ramadan for the entire month. In addition, Unity Grammar host Taraweeh prayers for the wider community, students iftar, staff and multifaith iftars, which cater for the wider school community to promote peace and harmony.
Islamic Values Education Program
Unity Gems are a collection of Islamic teachings which form part of the Islamic Values Education Program at Unity Grammar. Each week, students explore the meaning of a Gem (hadith or Quranic verse) related to the Islamic theme of the term. This together with the Islamic environment and events organised throughout the year instill the Muslim identity within our students, while maintaining positive global citizenship.
