New STEAM building will change lives & define future generations
Education not only is the foundation for democracy and citizenship but also opens minds and doors. Our young children today are the future decision makers, engineers, dancers, artists, nurses, and pilots. Unity Grammar is committed to educate them to become the finest leaders following the values of Integrity, Allegiance and Sincerity.
In the same way, we consider missions of ours to teach our children to dream big and make them able to achieve those dreams. This is the reason our curriculum is focused on challenging our students through quality outcomes, guided by research-based quality teaching, and learning strategies. Additionally, we have been using the Culture of Thinking Framework from the Harvard Graduate School of Education to move beyond traditional teaching methods to encourage thinking, learning, and understanding.
It is known that 68% of children entering primary school today will work in a job that does not exist yet. It is more important now than ever before to ensure we give each student the tools they need to succeed in life. Investing in new facilities that provide the necessary structure to advance the education of students has been another initiative adopted for Unity Grammar. For instance, replacing temporary buildings in the Junior School with quality permanent buildings, constructing a school hall and library, and more recently building a multipurpose sport courts. This growth was only possible because of the significant contributions of our business and community partners, parents, alumni, and staff.
The New STEAM Building will change lives and define future generations while creating inspirational educational spaces. With a contemporary design, the facility will be a place that foments a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through the creation, testing and sharing of ideas. It will include up-to-the-minute classrooms, science laboratories, robotics workshops, design and technology workshops, art studios, drama, and music rooms, English, engineering, and mathematics classrooms.
