Earlier today our Senior School Head of Academic Studies Mr Khaled Ajam and Western Sydney University met with Year 12 students. Mr Ajam discussed upcoming dates and deadlines regarding the HSC and University Admission and gave an insight into how the ATAR scaling works as well as the process behind HSC assessment and examination mark moderation. WSU discussed university entry, courses, scholarships and more.

Mr Ajam left our students with the following key messages:
1. Study to improve overall marks and ranking.
2. Work together and support each other to boost class average – even the top ranked student can reinforce their understanding of the syllabus content by teaching others.
3. Finish your final Senior School year with ZERO regrets – knowing that you’ve tried your best and that your final mark is an accurate reflection of your true potential!

Mr Ajam is the best! Doing amazing things and inspiring all students!

Mr Ajam has been an asset to Unity Grammar for the past 5 years. His sheer passion and dedication sets him apart from the rest. My son Ahmad had the privilege of having khaled not only teach him but also mentor him throughout his senior years of schooling. These year 12 students are in wonderful hands.

UNITY CARES - Unity Grammar visited The Exodus Foundation in Ashfield twice recently to run a lunch service for 250 needy Aussies doing it tough including those without a home or shelter.

This event reflects the diversity and beauty of modern Australia, where an Islamic school working with schools of other faith traditions work together to help their brothers and sisters in humanity. We would like to thank all involved.

Whether it’s around the corner or around the world, service to humanity is a fundamental part of the Unity Grammar experience!
