Student Wellbeing

Every member of the Unity Grammar community has a right to fully participate in an educational environment that is safe, supportive and inclusive. Our belief is that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.

Students, staff and families are supported by various personnel and programs including Wellbeing Coordinators, qualified psychologists and stage advisors who work with teams within the College to develop a school culture where all individual students are valued.

Unity Grammar has developed a comprehensive ASPIRE Wellbeing Framework to address the wellbeing needs of staff, students and the school community in the areas of academia, social, physical, Islamic, relational and emotional.

Wellbeing Activities

Unity Grammar values the importance of staff and student wellbeing. It is one of our five School Priority areas. The school has developed and implements a K –12 Wellbeing Framework based on expert consultation, research and evidence so as to always look for ways to improve the wellbeing of our Unity Grammar family.

The K – 12 Wellbeing Framework is titled ASPIRE.

A – Academic Component

S – Social Component

P – Physical Component

I – Islamic Component

R – Relational Component

E – Emotional Component

The K – 12 Wellbeing Framework is carefully designed to align wellbeing events/programs to the Islamic and PDHPE Curriculum.

Wellbeing events and targeted programs are carefully designed within the school and regularly involve external partners and organisations to maximise targeted student outcomes.

Unity Grammar also has the support of onsite clinical psychologists and psychologists that plan proactive wellbeing programs for staff, students and parents and support students with social/emotional learning needs.
