Unity Grammar offers a unique curriculum structure that is focused on challenging our students through quality teaching programs, driven by research-based quality teaching and learning strategies.
Our Senior School program focuses on preparing our learners for life in and beyond school. Using the Cultures of Thinking Framework from the Harvard Graduate School of Education we aim to improve learning and collaboration in our students.
When a teaching and learning curriculum is carefully crafted, students become agents of their own learning. Students are able to construct new knowledge and develop skills and dispositions in dynamic environments where teachers are responsive to their needs and interests.
We are currently accepting applications for Year 7. If you would like to know more about our enrolment process and criteria, please complete the form and our Enrolment team will contact you. We look forward to welcoming you into the Unity Grammar family.
From the commencement of their Year 7 journey, students are encouraged to ask questions and expand their own learning through a range of unique extra-curricular and academic opportunities only available at Unity Grammar. Unity Grammar also offers programs for gifted and talented students to ensure your child achieves the best schooling experience.
Unity Grammar’s Islamic and Arabic Programs are tailor made for our Senior School students. This ensures that from Year 7, our students benefit from high quality teaching and inspiring external speakers. We aim to foster the finest citizens, who are proud of their Muslim identity and can positively contribute the Australian society.
Student Leadership allows students to learn about social justice as they participate in activities that highlight the roles and responsibilities of being a part of a diverse community. Student Representative Councils (SRCs) and student leadership positions where students captain academic and sport teams are an aspect of the leadership experience at Unity Grammar.
Unity Grammar encourages all our students to become actively involved in public speaking. Public speaking allows our students to enhance their communication skills, improve their confidence in speaking in a social environment, motivate our students to speak with persuasion and learn to capture the audience’s attention.
School camps are an essential part of the extracurricular program, providing students with character building opportunities and lasting memories. For most students, the camp is an opportunity to develop social skills, confidence, teamwork, and other values.
Excellence in schooling is about more than just teaching a curriculum. Unity Grammar is a place where children even from as young as Kindergarten learn essential life skills and develop important attitudes that shape personality and character.
Every student knows that they are an important part of our ‘family’. Unity Grammar has a proven and successful track record in meeting the differing needs of learners in each phase of their development from childhood through adolescence to young adulthood.
As a community and family-oriented school, we work with our students, and with you, to develop young men and women who will reach their full potential. They will seize all of life’s opportunities with a positive attitude and embrace the joys and challenges of the future.
